Coronado First Bank

1,790 square foot, First Floor Office

Low-Rise, Downtown San Diego.

The challenge was to convert a small narrow space into a beautiful bank branch for high wealth customers. While the T.I. was in progress the building lobby and exterior renovation was also under way.

Interior design and planning, construction documentation, MEP coordination, permit services and FF&E.

A rich transitional feel was achieved using glass and vinyl modular walls framed in black steel with framed sliding glass doors. Espresso veneer millwork and case goods, granite slab counters, brick over CMU and light painted walls. Recessed and pendant lighting, exposed concrete deck painted white and 2’ x 2’ acoustic ceiling tile in ancillary areas. Carpet tile in open/office area, granite tile in entry, manual mesh roller shades and beautiful seating fabrics.

The design concept was met and the client is enjoying their transitional yet contemporary office in downtown San Diego. This project was constructed by SDOi, window shades by Shades of Light San Diego, Lifespace modular walls and doors by Haworth.
