Scope

2,038 square foot, Fourth Floor Office Condominium, Downtown San Diego.

The challenge was to convert the cold-shell suite into a collaborative office space for a family owned business. While adhering to the stringent CC&R’s all areas needed to maintain privacy as well as the Bay View to the West.

Design

A contemporary European feel was achieved using glass modular walls framed in stainless steel, frameless sliding & swinging glass doors. Maple veneer millwork, stainless steel bar pulls and high-end appliances, 2” quartz slab counter and glass wall tile. White painted walls, recessed and pendant lighting, 4’ x 8’ acoustic ceiling tile and exposed concrete deck. Carpet tile in perimeter rooms, porcelain tile open area, sound underlayment, motorized mesh roller shades and high-density rolling file system.

Conclusion

The design concept was met and the family is enjoying their contemporary office with a view.  This project was constructed by SDOi, window shades by Shades of Light San Diego, Enclose modular walls and doors by Haworth.
